Play is more permissive on dimensions and stricter in one specific way: the aspect ratio ceiling is 2:1. A raw 1080 × 2400 capture from a modern Android phone is about 2.22:1 and will be refused. That single rule is why so many Play listings carry letterboxed or awkwardly cropped screenshots.
It also wants a feature graphic — a 1024 × 500 landscape banner shown above your screenshots and used whenever Play promotes your app. It is required, and it is the most consistently neglected asset in the store.

One document, two stores
A screenshot set is a document with artboard groups, not a folder of images. Add an Android group to the same document as your iOS group and the design carries across; the frame, the dimensions and the safe areas change per target. That matters most when you revise — a copy change lands on both stores in one pass rather than being redone twice and slowly drifting apart.

The feature graphic at exactly 1024 × 500.
A hi-res icon at 512 × 512, plus the full Android density set with adaptive layers.

Questions
Can I use my iOS screenshots on Play?
The design, yes. The files, no. Dimensions differ, Play caps aspect ratio at 2:1, and an iPhone frame around an Android screen is immediately obvious. Re-render the same design with Android sizes and an Android device frame — one document, two outputs.
Does it make the feature graphic too?
Yes. The 1024 × 500 feature graphic is an artboard preset like any other, with a bundled starting layout, and it previews in the Play Store view before you export.
Can you upload to the Play Console for me?
No. You export the files and upload them in the Play Console yourself. Direct Play publishing is not built at all, and our App Store Connect integration, while written, has not been exercised against live accounts yet — so plan on exporting for both stores today.
What about tablet screenshots?
Supported as their own device type at 1600 × 2560, rendered from the same document rather than upscaled from phone. Play will warn you in the console if you skip them.
How many screenshots should I make?
Play allows eight. Design for the first three — they carry nearly all the weight, and a long set mostly dilutes the promise the first one made.
